It is unfortunately not possible to change your mobile number in GCASH, as it also functions as your GCASH account number.
However, it is still possible to create a new GCash account with a different number and transfer your funds and any active GCredit, GGives or GLoan services to the new account.
Before doing so, bear in mind that certain features such as transaction history, GScore, GForest and Piggy Bank are not able to be transferred.
If you wish to proceed with the transfer, here is what you will need to do:
1. Create a new GCash account with a new number.
2. Verify it fully – consult How do I get Fully Verified? for help in this regard.
3. Submit a request ticket to the transfer of funds from your old to your new account. Select ‘My GCash Account→ I still have funds on my old lost sim, kindly transfer to my new number‘ as the concern category. In the case that your old mobile number was not verified, you will need to provide a notarized affidavit.
4. For any GCredit, GGives, and GLoan services you had active on your previous account submit a new ticket to transfer them to your new KYC‘s number. When selecting ‘Concern category‘, choose ‘GCredit → I lost my old number and I want to replace it with my new KYC‘d number‘.
You will receive an email notification regarding the status of your requests within 48 hours.
